I'm trying to find or create a word in Sindarin to describe all the non-ainur speaking peoples of Middle Earth (elves, men, dwarves, but also ents and orcs). There may already be a term for this but I'm not aware of it. I'm thinking it would involve "pet-" and "waith" but I'm not sure how to make "ped" into an adjective? What would you suggest?
Translate "speaking peoples"

Hello Sarah! I would offer lî bedol using “speak” in the active participle, and lî “people (of one kind or origin)” could possibly use rim as well. “Host, great number, people (of one kind or origin).
or tongue of the people “lam i·lî”

It never crossed my mind. LOL I tend to use lî and rim most of the time.
gwaith is a great suggestion as well.
