Thank you so much for your help Rínor, I appreciate it! By giving up the original meaning, do you think that a similar noun keeping the initial part sounding as "sere" or "sele" would be possible?
Looking around a bit I found also:
sael + edhel
sirith (stream) + -iel
but I have no idea if these are ok!

We the original I believe is a mix of Sindarin/Quenya as I don't believe Quenya has the consonant ð (dh).
- sirithiel IPA: /si.'ri.θi.ɛl/ " (flowing-daughter)
- saeledhel IPA: /'sa͡ɛ.lɛ.ðɛl/ (Wise-Elf)
as apposed to /seː.'rɛ.ði.ɛl/ If I read it correctly on Eldamo that Tolkien would also put a dieresis on a final e to indicate it was not silent as is often the case in English. So from what I can tell Sérëdhiel is completely incorrect. But I am not familiar with Quenya.
So all would sound differently.

@Rínor, Sidhiel > Sídhiel, the long vowel here is ancient (from CE ✶sēde) and would not shorten in this position.
@Elenna, as Rínor mentioned, your original name was a mixture of Quenya and Sindarin. Quenya cannot have dh, so if you want the name to remain in Quenya you'd have to give up on this consonant. In Sindarin, on the other hand, this sequence of sounds is technically possible, but it would be meaningless (at least I can't think of a way of explaining it).
Rínor's suggestion above, (Sindarin) Sirithiel, is fairly close in sound to your original name, so it's something to consider. I can also offer (also Sindarin) Sirídhiel from sîr + îdh + -iel (from CE ✶sīre·ezdē·iel), with the meaning "river-rest-daughter"; I think this is closest to the original you could get, both in sound and in meaning.
