Translation request for underwater

Does anyone know a translation for underwater or underwater city in Quenya or Sindarin.

There is no word for "underwater" but it could be convade as nu e·nen/nu i·nen "beneath the water".

So, we have a new PE that we are still going over. Which show that the definite article be e/en for singular and in for plural.

The previous way was i singular in plural.

@Rínor, I'm curious for my own understanding, why did you choose en over the definite article i?

Attested examples that comes to mind is:

Dagor-nuin-Giliath "Battle-under-Stars"
Dor-nu-Fauglith "Land under Choking Ash"
Emyn-nu-Fuin "Mountains of Mirkwood"
Taur-nu-Fuin "Forest under Night"
di’nguruthos "Beneath the dread of death"

So perhaps the article isn't even needed, let alone en/in? What do you think?

As Rínor briefly mentioned in his post, he is applying the new paradigm published in PE23, pp. 133 ff. This document (labelled "Common Eldarin Article" or CEA), composed ca. 1969, shows a conceptual shift, whereby Tolkien decided that the sg. def. article in Sindarin was e before consonants (with voc. mutation) and en before vowels. On the face of it this new paradigm does not seem to contradict any examples of Elvish published during Tolkien's lifetime, but it does, in all likelihood, invalidate the notion of the definite genitive preposition en.
