Hrangwë in Sindarin

I am working on a translation in Sindarin and I need a word meaning "problem/question". However, I cannot find a word in Sindarin that means this. I did find two Quenya neologisms: hrangwë, meaning problem/difficulty, and maquetta, meaning question.

Could hrangwë become rhangu or rhang in Sindarin? My thought process was Hrísto = Rhist and Elwë = Elu, but would the final u vanish? And does this conflict with Early Noldorin rhang (to slay)?

In terms of maquetta, could a Sindarin version be mabedad? Since maquetta was formed from Quenya maquet- (to ask) + a noun suffix, I put together Sindarin mabed- and nominal suffix -ad.

Well, there is rhanc ⪤ hranga meaning 'awkward, hard,' although I am not sure why hrangwë is using -wë when I think it should be -wē (an abstract suffix) from what I can tell, but again I am not super familiar with Quenya.

So perhaps rhangas could mean 'problem, difficulty'? (rhanc + -as).

It would be mabeded for the I-stem, using -ed, which would mean either 'to ask [a question]' or 'asking [a question].'

Or, if strictly using maquetta ⪤ mabeth, it looks like maquetta is formed with ✶-ta (a noun suffix indicating the single product of an action).

Those are my thoughts, and I’d like to hear what you think.

I like the concept of rhangas, but I'm in a bit over my head with maquetta and related haha.

Confirmed with Paul on VL it would be mabeth.
