Hi all!
I recently got a tattoo of a dragon and I know it's unlucky to have one without a name, so I was thinking of figuring out an elvish name for it.
It's kind of an anchoring reminder of why I am transitioning and as such I was thinking of something like "Bringer of Enlightenment" or "Soul Anchor" or something like that. Anyone have ideas of what would be a pretty name for her?

It is suggested for anything permanent such as tattoo's that you transcribe the English with Tengwar. For what we offer may change if more information comes to light.
And unfortunately Sindarin does not have a word for anchor, bringer or enlightenment.
That being said I will leave it up to you. I myself would opt for transcribing it.
Bringer would have to be constructed and it could be tollor (or tolthor) and we do have fae n. “incarnate spirit, *soul”.
So Soul Bringer would be Faedollor (fae-DOL-lor)or Faedolthor (fae-DOL-thor).
