methal
noun. footstep
A word for “footstep” in Nebrachar poem written around 1930, appearing only in its plural form methail “footsteps” (MC/217). Its second element is probably related to tal “foot” having undergone nasal mutation. The basis for its initial element (man- or men-?) is unclear, but it could be related to ᴹ√MEN from the 1930s.
