An adjective for “nutbearing” in the Gnomish Lexicon of the 1910s”, a combination of G. cod “nut” and G. -iof “-bearing”, appearing along with longer variant codiavol (GL/26, 38). The longer variant was first written (and then deleted) as codiovol next to G. codwed “nutbearing”, which was itself another adjectival form of cod (GL/26).
