A noun in the Gnomish Lexicon of the 1910s given as ᴱQ. fāse, the cognate of G. fôr “gulf, gap” (GL/36), which in turn was related to G. far- “separate” (GL/34). There is, however, no obvious connection of ᴱQ. fāse to any other Early Qenya forms.
