A neologism for “barley” coined by Helge Fauskanger for his NQNT (NQNT), perhaps combination of findë “hair” and [ᴱQ.] ore (ori-) “grain”. In NQNT, this appeared only in the possessive form findoriva “of barley”, indicating a stem for of findori-. I prefer ᴺQ. ori as the Neo-Quenya adaptation of ᴱQ. ore “grain”, so I would assume the uninflected form of this noun was findori.
