A root in the Gnomish Lexicon of the 1910s appearing as gṛþ- replacing deleted kṛþ- with derivatives having to do with care and affection (GL/42). To salvage Gnomish “care” words, I would retain this as a Neo-Root ᴺ√(G)RITH.
