A word for “mistaken action” appearing in Definitive Linguistic Notes (DLN) from 1959, illustrating the use of the prefix loi- “mistaken”. It can be contrasted with saucarë “doing or making a thing very badly” and uskare “doing wrong” from the same document. These probably all function as nouns, but likely originate as infinitives of the verb car- “do”.
