Early Quenya

lokta-

verb. to sprout, bud, put forth leaves or flowers

A verb in the Qenya Lexicon of the 1910s glossed “sprout, bud, put forth leaves or flowers” under the early root ᴱ√LOHO (QL/55). This verb had some inflected forms in the Early Qenya Grammar of the 1920s, but in that document it was not translated (PE14/58).
