A root in the Qenya Lexicon of the 1910s glossed “all, every”, with derivatives like ᴱQ. oma “everywhere”, ᴱQ. ompa “each; all, every” and various words for omniscience, omnipotence and omnipresence (QL/70). In Tolkien’s later writing these senses were assigned to √IL.
