The word ront appeared twice in the Gnomish Lexicon of the 1910s. Once it was unglossed and derived from the early root ᴱ√roto “hollow” (GL/65; QL/80). Its second appearance had the gloss “high, steep” and was derived from ᴱ√rō-/oro- (GL/66).
