tumna
adjective. lowlying, deep, low, lowlying, low; deep, [ᴱQ.] profound; dark, hidden
An adjective in The Etymologies of the 1930s glossed “lowlying, deep, low” derived from ᴹ✶tubnā “deep” under the root ᴹ√TUB (Ety/TUB).
Conceptual Development: The Qenya Lexicon of the 1910s had ᴱQ. tumna “deep, profound, dark or hidden” under the early root ᴱ√TUM(B)U (QL/95).
Neo-Quenya: For purposes of Neo-Quenya, I include the early gloss “profound” but not “dark or hidden”.
