Learning Sindarin

Hi! I’d like to learn Sindarin. How would you suggest I do that? Are there classes I can take?

To learn Sindarin, you should:

1. Read through the Gelio Edhellen lessons by Fiona Jallings. They are the most up-to-date material currently available.

2. Join the Vinye Lambengolmor Discord server so you can ask questions and get help from Tolkienian linguistics experts.

Would you recommend learning both Sindarin and Quenya? Or just one?

You can learn both or one only, it's up to you. I myself have only learned Sindarin and plan on figuring out Quenya eventually, but I've heard that starting with Quenya makes it easier to learn Sindarin later. In essence, do what you prefer!
