mae govannen! I'm trying to translate one of my favorite songs, "Leaves from the Vine", into Sindarin, but I'm not sure how to translate the word "shell"; I believe it's referring to sea shells. Thank you for your time!

Sure thing, although there is no word for "vine" but we could coins a Sindarin word for it from the Quenya word liantassë “vine” which would be lhingas. Although, this is hypothetical as ᴺS. [N.] ^lhing, n. has been glossed as "spider’s web, cobweb". It comes from ᴹ√SLIG “*entwine, thread; spider”.
Another thought maybe using ᴺS loeth “twist, tendril, spiral, coil” with the abstract -as for loethas.
Or one step further GAL² “grow (like plants), flourish, be healthy, be vigorous, bloom + rath S. reth n. “*climber” galreth. But a second option is always advised.
