Since Sindarin and Quenya are not complete languages, there is no comprehensive course for them. What worked for me was A Fan's Guide to Neo-Sindarin, along with Eldamo.org and the various members who have helped me along the way.

Everyone has different ideas on how some things are done, so there are various opinions on conjugations, etc. For example, some think the past tense uses a long vowel, while others do not. Take bal- 'to have power'—third person singular avol and all others avóle-. However, the examples we have do not feature a long vowel, so it might actually be avole-.

What help me was trying to translate everything I can.

Well, it's a start. LOL First it going over the material. Eldamo.org has the basics of Sindarin. And Fiona's book has really good information in it. Starting off small and learning the basics.

  • I run. > Nerin.
  • He speaks > Pêd.
  • I walk the path. > Pedin i·râd.

etc... We are more than happy to help out. But first is reading over the material we have.

I have a crash course as well. But it is not the full think the Fion'a has in her book but is a little more than the basics on Eldamo.

ok Thanks Lets continue my sindarin learning journey

What do you think of WOORBOOK from elronds conciulhttp://councilofelrond.com/readingcats/sindarin-workbook-updated/ ?

That site is outdated. I would recommend the two presented to you A fan's guide and Eldamo.

I'd also recommend you check out beginners' resources in Links & Resources for more information!
