Singular of Haradrim: 1 person from Harad?

Sinick #4218

What's the word for "a person from Harad"?

Are there different words for "a man from Harad" and "a woman from Harad"?

Rínor #4220

No official word for it but Harad means south. So I suppose you could do Hardir/Hardis using harn “south, southern”

Or Haradon/Haradeth using the “masculine suffix” and “feminine suffix”.

Thank you so much Rínor! This is a real help.

I would say Haradron (m.) and Haradreth (f.) after attested Mithron and Mithres (the latter shows dissimilation) for pl. Mithrim.

Ellanto #4229

I was just going to say the same haha

Thanks very much to both of you, Vyacheslav Stepanov and Ellanto!

Out of Rínor's replies I preferred Haradon/Haradeth, but I like the sound of Haradron/Haradreth even better. It's great to know they have a basis in attested words!
