Plural Verb Forms

Micaiah Elwanu #4292

Hello!

I had a question. I wanted to ask if anyone has an idea how you would make a verb plural? As in first, second, third person plural.

Also is there conjugations that could be used as well? And one other thing, is there a Quenya grammar sanctioned by the Tolkien family? I know that there is a Sindar one.

Thank you so much, Abigail Micaiah

Mae govannen!

Conjugations completely depend on the type of verb stem you're working with. They're different for each of Tolkien's languages, and so I offer these pages on basic grammar:

Quenya: eldamo.org

Sindarin: eldamo.org

You'll find the part on verbs about halfway down each of the pages.

Eldamo is generally the most reliable website out there for this sort of thing, so here is the link for the general site: eldamo.org

I'm not sure about anything fully sanctioned by the Tolkien Estate, though. Hope this helps!

I also have one for Sindarin Verb Conjugations.

Thank you both so much!! I just wanted to make sure that I was adding the right verb ending. LOL:) For me Tolkien is almost a religion. You have to make sure that you get it just right or the entire thing falls apart.

Just yesterday I realized that I was using the wrong form of "my" when addressing Elves who would have been Noldor. They would be using " ninya" not "nín" which is the Sindar form. About time I got it right.

Thank you both so much for all of your help. You both are so knowledgeable and it's so encouraging to have this site. Thank you, thank you,
