Merry Christmas!

The letter was discovered in an auction on July 10th, 2019. The letter contains an ancient Elvish translation of 'Merry Christmas'.

About this phrase

Tolkien did not provide a translation of Amanar, but he did state that the phrase "only referred to Yule and the beginning of the Sun's return."
