Gnomish
suithli
noun.towel
A noun appearing as G. suithli “a towel” in the Gnomish Lexicon of the 1910s, related to G. suitha- “to dry, wipe” and G. suib “dry” (GL/68).
Neo-Sindarin: Since N. parch is a later word meaning “dry”, I think it is worth positing a neologism ᴺS. parchol “towel” for purposes of Neo-Sindarin to replace G. suithli.
