gurth ‘ni chudath vín! “death to our foes!”

• gurth “death”
• ‘ni “to the”, a shortening of an “to” + in “the”, as seen in aglar ‘ni pheriannath “glory to the halflings”
• chudath, class plural of cûd “foe”, so “all our foes”, here with nasal mutation c → ch due to the preceding ‘ni.
• vín ← mín “our”, with soft mutation m → v in adjectival position. As the possessive pronouns don’t make a phrase definite, there is an article in the Sindarin phrase (it’s essentially “to the foes of ours”), that is not mirrored in the English translation.

Did anyone else collect anything from Season 2?

I heard bits and pieces I knew (especially battle phrases, similar to David Salo's), but this season had some great Elvish dialogue.

It even had a very old, out of touch Elf (lol) pronouncing s as þ! It was awesome!

Here are a few that I know of.

• Dagranno! "attack!" possibly from dagra + anna (lit) "give battle"
• Hado hí! "Take the shot!" (lit.) Hurl/fling now!
• Dago i hi! "Kill it!" (lit.) Slay that now!
• Caro lírath! "Form ranks!" (lit.) Make ranks/rows
