What Am I doing wrong?

Peter D #5051

Another EDIT: Yé mána!

EDIT: Thanks all. I have found that Earisse's workaround works - typing in www.elfdict/w/ and then the word I'm hunting for.

Aldaleon: I have tried with "Natural Language" both on and off because I had no idea what I was doing, but neither helped.

Hey, not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not. But anything I type into the search bar comes up with the same message, "No words matching... were found in the dictionary." It doesn't seem to matter whether I search English, Sindarin, Quenya or plain old gibberish. Thanks

Same here.

Celebrinor #5053

Not sure works for me.

Aldaleon #5054

Interesting! What are you looking for? Which search terms did you use?

Tom Hillman #5055

I've tried quite a few different searches. For example, I just tried the example given in the "browsing the dictionary" section. I typed "mi" and got nothing. Then "mir" and nothing. "mithril" and nothing. That's been my experience with every word I've tried today.

I have never had a problem of any kind before now.

Earisse #5058

Same thing happens to me, as well. To find a word I am typing the adress bar: www.elfdict.com/w/...the word I am look for.... That's the only way.

Aldaleon #5059

Did you turn on natural language search? It should be turned off (it's an expert function I probably should hide)

Aldaleon #5060

I've gone ahead and disabled natural language search. Did that fix your problem?

AyameRose #5062

I've been having the same problem since yesterday and it's still going on for me

Tom Hillman #5063

I am still having the same problem. I have found the workaround gets me where I want to go in the meantime.
