immaro
adverb. *for any reason
Beware, older languages below! The languages below were invented during Tolkien's earlier period and should be used with caution. Remember to never, ever mix words from different languages!
immaro
adverb. *for any reason
The correlative ᴹQ. immaro appeared in Demonstrative, Relative, and Correlative Stems (DRC) from 1948 (PE23/112), a combination of ᴹQ. imma “any” and ᴹQ. -ro “reason”.
Neo-Quenya: Since ᴹQ. imma “any” too closely resembles the later prefix Q. im- “same”, for purposes of Neo-Quenya I would update this to ᴺQ. airo “for any reason” using the hypothetical prefix ᴺQ. ai(a)- “any”; see that entry for discussion.
